International Journal for Comparative Cultural Studies

This volume is dedicated to the political topics and agendas present in the poetry of the second half of the 20th and the beginning of the 21st century. The spectrum of contributions ranges from analyses of the forms and functions of political poetry in various languages and national contexts to poetic engagement with both domestic and foreign affairs to poetry as a form of political action. The emphasis is on Slavic and East Asian languages as well as on German-language poetry.
